From the beginning of my plumbing and gasfitting journey back in 2012, I have picked up many skills from various companies. These skills are essential to complete the varied jobs and situations that the plumbing and gasfitting industry requires.
However, over the years of learning this very important knowledge, I began to notice something missing: the focus, attention, and commitment towards the customers' individual needs and feelings. At ProTurn, we strive to deliver a positive experience before, during, and after the work is complete. We strive to do this by getting back to the basics, listening to each customer individually, being honest and open, respecting people's private spaces, being easy to get in touch with, maintaining an appealing appearance, resolving any complaints quickly, and continually improving and upskilling in these areas.

Now that I am my own boss, I can upskill more often without any constraints. As my company grows, I aim to create an upskilling culture where my future employees are given career opportunities beyond their apprenticeships if they choose to.
Some of my own career highlights and fulfilled dreams include becoming fully qualified at the certifying level back in 2021, representing New Zealand in the 44th World Skills Competition in 2017 held in Abu Dhabi, UAE, competing in the plumbing, gasfitting, and heating category, working on central heating systems overseas in Canada, and now starting my own business.
